Fall athletic teams perform well in classroom

The Saddleback College athletic department is pleased to announce that six of the college’s 10 intercollegiate athletic teams that were in season during the Fall 2017 semester have amassed an average team grade point average over 3.00.

Saddleback women’s golfer Brittney Do finished in fourth place in medalist play at the California Community College Athletic Association State Championships on Monday at Morro Bay. The freshman was also named to the all-state team as a result.

Saddleback women’s golfer Brittney Do is tied for the lead after the opening day of the California Community College Athletic Association women’s golf championships at Morro Bay. The freshman from Marina High School shot 1-under par on opening day.
Gauchos finish 5th at SoCal Finals

The Saddleback women’s golf team finished in fifth place at the Southern California Regional Finals on Monday at Temecula Creek Golf Club in Temecula. It’s the second highest finish for the Gauchos in the past eight years.

The Saddleback women’s golf team won its second straight Orange Empire Conference championship on Wednesday at Los Serranos Country Club in Chino Hills. The Gauchos shot a two-day total of 679 while freshman Brittney Do won the conference MVP.

The Saddleback women’s golf team won its fifth straight match today with a score of 338 at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo. With the win, the Gauchos have clinched at least a tie for the Orange Empire Conference title with two rounds remaining.

The Saddleback women’s golf team moved into sole possession of first place in the Orange Empire Conference after winning at Temecula Creek Golf Resort on Wednesday in Temecula. The Gauchos shot 333 to win by 15 shots.

The Saddleback women’s golf team had its lowest score of the year on Wednesday when it went to Mesa Linda Golf Course in Costa Mesa and defeated all four Orange Empire Conference opponents. Brittney Do led the Gauchos by shooting 1-over-par.
Gauchos finish second in first conference match

The Saddleback women's golf team placed second in the opening Orange Empire Conference golf match which was hosted by Fullerton College on the Royal Vista course this week. The Gauchos' team score of 345 was just four shots off the pace set by Irvine Valley College (341) and 15 strokes ahead of third-place finisher Mt. San Antonio College (360).
Women’s golf finishes third in the desert

The Saddleback women’s golf team opened the 2017 campaign by finishing third in one of the better tournaments of the fall at Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort on Friday and Saturday in Palm Springs. Brittney Do led the charge, capturing medalist honors.
