Bio
Returns to Saddleback after a solid freshman campaign in 2017. During her first season with the Gauchos, Melkonian was 6-1 in singles play and 5-3 in doubles action, winning the Orange Empire Conference doubles title. Previous to Saddleback, she lettered in tennis at Dana Hills High School before graduating in 2016. While at DHHS, Melkonian was part of a state championship team. Her brother, Matt Garcia, played football at Saddleback in 2008. Melkonian plans to major in biology.
