The National Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA) 2025-26 collegiate surf season opened this past weekend at Black’s Beach in La Jolla. The Bobcats had a solid performance, finishing third out of 32 colleges in attendance.

The Saddleback surf team is hitting its stride at the right time as the Bobcats won event No. 3 of the National Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA) West Coast season at Steamer Lane in Santa Cruz. The Bobcats defeated 30 other teams in gearing up for the Interscholastic State Championships this weekend.

Defending champs look solid in opener

The Saddleback surf team looked solid in the opening National Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA) event of the season in finishing fourth at the Southwest College event at Black’s Beach in San Diego on Saturday. The defending national champions had a couple of great finishes in placing fourth out of 36 colleges.

Surf captures NSSA national title

The Saddleback Surf Team (club) captured the National Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA) college national championship this past month at Salt Creek Beach in Dana Point. It was the third NSSA national title for the school and the first since 2014.
