Returns to Saddleback after being a part of a Bobcat program that finished 11th at the state finals last fall. In addition to cross country, Cornejo was part of the track and field program this past spring.
Previous to Saddleback, Cornejo lettered in cross country and track at Laguna Hills High School before graduating in 2022. While at LHHS, Cornejo was part of a CIF championship team.
Cornejo plans to major in biological sciences.
