MXC 11th at SoCal Finals

The Saddleback men's cross country team finished 11^th at the Southern California Regional Finals on Friday at El Dorado Park in Long Beach.  The Bobcats qualified for the state finals in Fresno on November 18.

Saddleback had two top-40 finishers in cruising into the state finals in two weeks.  Jaeden Cornejo led the Bobcats, finishing 35^th overall in a time of 20:50.8 on the 4-mile trek.  Right behind Cornejo was Mitch Groff, who finished 39^th in a time of 20:57.6.

Saddleback had another in the top-50 when Eric Dillon crossed the finish line in 21:17.6 to finish 48^th overall.  Devin Martinez finished 80^th (21:57.3) and Darin Hoi 94^th (22:20.4) to round out the team scoring.

The 11^th place finish qualified Saddleback for the state meet for a third straight season.

Saddleback will participate at the 3C2A State Finals in Fresno on November 18.
