Robinson commits to SUU

The Saddleback women's volleyball team was back in the news this week when the volleyball office announced that Ronnie Robinson has committed to play at the four-year level.  Robinson will play at Southern Utah University.

Robinson was an All-Orange Empire Conference selection this past season when she led the Gauchos in a number of categories.  Robinson led Saddleback with 338 kills and was second on the team with 231 digs.  She was third on the team with 36 block assists and led the team with 381 points during the course of the season.

Robinson will play at Southern Utah, located in Cedar City, Utah.  The Thunderbirds are a member of the Big Sky Conference and finished 15-16 overall in 2019.

Robinson came to Saddleback from Enterprise High School in Utah where she lettered in volleyball, basketball, track & field and softball before graduating in 2019.  While at EHS, Robinson was part of a state championship softball team and was an all-state selection in volleyball.

Robinson is the third member of the Saddleback volleyball program to transfer to an NCAA D1 program in the past three years, joining Ayla Fresenius (UC Riverside) and Antonette Rolda (UNLV).
