Comes to Saddleback from Moreau Catholic High School where she lettered in basketball and track before graduating in 2023.  

Surrena-Thompson's aunt, Kelley Galigher, played softball at Penn State while her uncle, Roy Williams, played football at Oklahoma.  Surrena-Thompson's mother, Carleen, played soccer at Sacramento State.

Surrena-Thompson plans to major in biology.
