Danna wins again

The Saddleback women's track & field team participated at the SoCal Preview Meet on Friday at Chaffey College.  Danna Ibarra Canales continued with her winning ways. 

Ibarra Canales crossed the finish line in first place for a fourth straight event.  Her time of 19:27.9 on the 5k trek was over five seconds quicker than her nearest competitor. 

Ibarra Canales was one of four Saddleback runners in the race.  Kiana Zerehgar finished 21^st overall in a time of 21:34.0.  Leilani Vivaldo was 31^st (22:02.2) while Danica Tubman finished 66^th (23:32.6).

Friday's race had a total of 168 harriers.

Saddleback's women's cross-country team will be back in action next Friday at the San Diego Mesa Invitational.
