Sofley named volleyball coach

The Saddleback athletics department announced that Michael Sofley has been named the new coach for the women's volleyball program.  Sofley will handle both the indoor and beach programs for the school.

Sofley is an experienced coach known for developing competitive, high-character teams and helping athletes maximize their potential.  With a strong background in both indoor and beach volleyball, he brings a level of intensity, energy and vision to the program. 

Sofley is the current high school director for the Saddleback Volleyball Club. He has extensive experience in helping athletes navigate the NCAA recruiting space.  Sofley's commitment to building a winning culture and developing student-athletes on and off the court makes him a powerful addition to the Saddleback athletics family. 

"I'm incredibly excited to have the opportunity to turn Saddleback College into a destination where athletes can come and get what they need in order to move on and thrive at the next level," Sofley said.
