Higginson signs with Ottawa

The Saddleback women's aquatics program is back in the news this week with the announcement of another signing.  Sophomore Tori Higginson signed a deal with Ottawa University where she will compete in both water polo and swimming.

Higginson competed for two years at Saddleback in both sports, playing water polo as a freshman in 2018 and competing for the swim team in both 2019 and 2020.  She finished third on the water polo team with 50 goals during the 2018 campaign, scoring a career-high nine goals against Orange Coast College in an 18-12 win over the Pirates. 

Ottawa University is located in Surprise, Arizona, and plays under the NAIA umbrella in the Golden State Athletic Conference.

Previous to Saddleback, Higginson lettered in water polo and swimming at Capistrano Valley High School before graduating in 2018.   In addition to competing in both water polo and swimming, Higginson was an honor roll student at Saddleback
