Hackett named to All-America Team

The Saddleback women's soccer team had another historic season in 2023 and the post-season awards continue to roll in.  Sophomore Summer Hackett was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America Team this week.

Hackett was named the First Team after helping the Bobcats to a 20-1-1 overall record and finishing with a No. 5 ranking in the nation.  She played in all 22 games during the season as one of the pillars on a back line that allowed just eight goals the entire season with 15 shutouts.  Hackett also proved to be an offensive weapon, scoring two goals and finishing third on the team with nine assists.

Hackett played in 40 games over two seasons at Saddleback and the Bobcats went 41-3-4 in her two years.  She finished with two goals and 11 assists on offense while helping Saddleback to 31 shutouts.

Hackett graduated from San Juan Hills High School after playing soccer at Santa Margarita Catholic High School.  She played for the Slammers during her senior season at San Juan Hills.

It was the second straight season that Saddleback has had a player named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America Team.
