Cats zap the Hornets for third straight shutout

The Saddleback women's soccer team remained hot with a 4-0 victory over Fullerton College on Friday afternoon in Fullerton.  Chloe Green scored two more goals as the Bobcats extended their unbeaten streak.

Green has been a machine in 2023, scoring 16 goals in 10 games.  She scored two more goals on Friday as the Bobcats improved to 9-0-1 on the season.

Mazey Kasberg opened the scoring in the third minute when she took a crossing pass from Alexa Livingstone and beat the Hornet keeper for a 1-0 lead.  Green then extended the lead with two straight goals, scoring in the 9th and 23rd minutes off passes from Livingstone and Emery Simis.  The Bobcats added a fourth goal in the 44th minute when Anjelina Nieto took a pass from Isabelle Whittaker and beat the keeper for a commanding lead.

Saddleback outshot Fullerton 23-2 for the night as the Hornets rarely moved the ball across midfield.  Dublin Synnott started in goal and played the first 45 minutes in improving to 7-0 on the season.  Rylie McLeish played in goal for the final 45 minutes.
