Six Gauchos chosen All-OEC

The Saddleback women's soccer team finished up one of its better seasons in recent memory, earning themselves a number of accolades after the season.  Six different Gauchos were named to the All-Orange Empire Conference Team following the campaign.

Saddleback had three players named to the first team and three more named to the second team.  Ashley Tiffin (left), Maliyah Medley (center) and Paige Vitolo (right) were named to the Orange Empire Conference First Team while Mia Wood, Abby Hazen and Reagan Appleby were all named to the second team.

Tiffin was an anchor in the defensive end, helping the Gauchos to seven shutouts while scoring one goal of her own.  Her lone goal of the season came on a penalty kick against MiraCosta in a 2-2 tie.

Medley finished second on the team with 14 goals for the year while leading the team with nine assists.  Her biggest game of the season came against Santa Ana when she scored three goals in a 3-2 win against the Dons.

Vitolo finished with a team-high 16 goals for the season.  She was the most consistent goal-scorer throughout the season, scoring in 11 different games.

Saddleback finished the season 13-6-4 overall, making it to the CCCAA Southern California Regional Semifinals.
