Brittney Do signs with UT-Tyler

The Saddleback women's golf program was back in the news on Thursday when the golf office announced that sophomore Brittney Do has signed a letter of intent.  Do will play at the University of Texas at Tyler after signing with the Patriots.

Do was a star for two years at Saddleback, earning All-Orange Empire First Team recognition both seasons.  She was the Orange Empire Conference Player of the Year as a freshman in 2017, going on to finish as the runner-up medalist at the CCCAA Southern Regional, and eventually placing fourth at the state championship.  As a sophomore this past fall, Do finished third in the Orange Empire Conference, third at the CCCAA Southern Regional, and 13th at the state championship event.

Do will continue her collegiate career at the University of Texas at Tyler, located in Tyler, Texas.  The Patriots play an NCAA D2 schedule, currently playing in the American Southwest Conference.

Do attended Marina High School in Huntington Beach where she lettered in golf before graduating in 2017.  While at MHS, Do was a first-team all-league selection and named second-team All-Orange County.  In addition, she was a scholar-athlete and played roller hockey for two years.

Do led Saddleback to a sixth place finish at the state finals this past year.  During her time at Saddleback, the Gauchos won back-to-back Orange Empire Conference titles.
