Two Bobcats make All-Conference Team

The Saddleback women's basketball team finished up the regular season on Friday and the coaches from the Orange Empire Conference (OEC) convened to select an all-conference team.  Two Bobcats made the list.

Alex Surrena-Thompson and Aleksia Gadea were both selected to the All-Orange Empire Conference Second Team by the coaches on Saturday.  The duo combined for 27.2 points and 13.7 rebounds-per-game during the season.

Surrena-Thompson played in 27 games, averaging a team-high 14.7 points-per-game.  She was third on the team in rebounds (6.5) while playing 29.2 minutes-per-game.  Surrena-Thompson scored in double-figures 22 times during the season with a season-high 23 points on two separate occasions.

Gadea played in 27 games this season, leading the team in assists (3.7) while finishing second in both scoring (12.6) and rebounds (7.2).  Gadea scored in double-figures 20 times with a season-high 22 points against Grossmont College on December 8.
