Gauchos vs. Tigers streamed live on Friday

The Orange Empire Conference basketball opener against Riverside City College will be streamed live on the Gaucho Sports Network, starting at 5:00 PM.  Saddleback students Ryan Jackson and Jack Naimo will have the call as the Gauchos open conference play on Friday.

Saddleback will host Riverside, with the men playing at 5:00 PM and the women scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.  The cost is $6.95 for both games with the broadcast starting at approximately 4:55 PM. 

The Saddleback men start things off in the early game and enter the game with a 15-1 record.  The Gauchos are ranked #1 in the state in the Ratings Percentage Index (RPI).  Riverside is 8-8 overall and ranked #40 in the RPI. 

The Saddleback women enter at 7-11 overall after playing a grueling non-conference schedule.   The Gauchos have an RPI rating of #31 in the state and #14 in Southern California entering the matchup with the Tigers.  Riverside enters at 10-6 overall and is ranked #42 overall and #21 in the south.
