Ayala guides Bobcats at GWC Invite

The Saddleback men's cross-country team finished in ninth place out of 24 programs at the Golden West Invitational on Friday in Huntington Beach.  Mike Ayala led the way for the Bobcats.

Ayala finished the 4-mile trek in 20:50.88 to finish 30^th overall.  He was followed by Cayden Reish, Darin Hoi, Andre Castillo and Logan Duer to round out the team scoring. 

Reish finished in 22:07.29 to finish 42^nd overall in an event with 276 total harriers.  Hoi (22:15.84) was 10 spots back in 52^nd place overall while Castillo (22:57.01) was 79^th and Duer (23:07.14) was 88^th.

Saddleback will be back in action on October 4 at the SoCal Preview at Chaffey College.
