Five Gauchos honored for big season

The Saddleback men's water polo team had its best finish in eight years in Orange Empire Conference play and had the most wins for the program since 1998.  Five Gauchos were honored with all-conference recognition as a result.

Saddleback finished 17-9 for the year and stunned Orange Coast College in the Orange Empire Conference Tournament to finish third overall.  The Gauchos had the most wins since the program won 28 games back in 1998.

Max Gonter, Jeffrey Rebrukh and Daniel Noble were listed as First Team All-OEC while Austin Hoff and Austin Warren were named to the second team. 

Gonter finished third in the conference with 73 goals for the year.  Noble was second on the team in scoring with 39 goals and 27 assists.  Rebrukh was 9-7 on the season in nets, recording 151 saves while playing in 23 matches.
