Hall is latest Gaucho to commit

The Saddleback men's basketball program is back in the news after the basketball office announced that another member of the 2015-16 squad has given a verbal commitment to a four-year school.  Point guard Jalen Hall has decided to continue his career at Bellevue University in Nebraska.

Hall was an integral part of the Saddleback program the past two seasons, making the Orange Empire Conference First Team this past season as the backup point guard.  Hall averaged 4.9 points, 1.8 assists and 2.5 rebounds-per-game this past season, playing in all 33 games.  He had a season-high 13 points against Southwestern College on December 4 and a season-best five assists against Santa Barbara City College on November 20.

Hall shot 46% from the field this past season, playing 16.3 minutes-per-game.  He played in 65 games at Saddleback in two years, scoring 296 points for his career with 129 assists.

Bellevue University is located in Bellevue, Nebraska, and plays under the NAIA umbrella in the North Star Athletic Conference.  The Bruins finished 20-12 this past season, losing in the opening round of the NAIA National Tournament.

Hall's commitment brings the Saddleback total to six for the year.
