Hoag enters his sophomore season at Saddleback after contributing in 15 games as a freshman. A 2010 graduate of Capo Valley High School, Hoag spent several years making himself into a basketball player. His ability to block shots and rebound at 7-feet tall make him a legitimate junior college prospect.

Coach Ground's Quote: “Kyle has been here seemingly forever and we love having him. He has really worked hard to get in shape physically and mentally. Kyle came to us with no real basketball experience. Over time, due to his great work ethic, Kyle has really developed. Every 4 year coach that walks into our gym asks us about Kyle. He is really starting to earn a reputation as a high level shot blocker and rebounder. We expect his maturity and team first attitude to help us greatly.”
