Bio

Clifford comes to Saddleback College as a transfer from UC Irvine. As a freshman at UCI in the 2012-2013 season, Clifford made a strong impression in the post. After redshirting for the 2013-2014 season he then decided to pursue his basketball career elsewhere. Prior to UCI, Clifford attended Ocean View High School where he graduated in 2012. He averaged 16 points a game and was a McDonalds All America nominee. He was an all-league and all-CIF performer and rated one of the top centers in the country by several scouting services.

Coach Ground's Quote: “Conor has come in with a great attitude. Sometimes a kid who comes from a Division 1 program comes in with a sense of entitlement, that has not been the case with Conor. He has dropped 25 pounds in 3 months of work and has made himself one of the top junior college prospects in the country. For us, he has shown a great ability to score in the post, as well as react to double teams and play unselfishly. He rebounds well in traffic, and we are encouraging him every day to rebound out of his area as well. Look for Conor to have a big year scoring the ball, and be a major focal point of opposing team’s defenses.”
