Bontrager adds to growing commit list
The Saddleback football program was back in the news this week with the news of more commitments to four-year universities. Sophomore Seth Bontrager was the latest to commit, bringing the total close to 20.
Bontrager gave a commitment to Midland University, located in Freemont, Nebraska. The Warriors play under the NAIA umbrella within the Great Plains Athletic Conference and finished 7-4 in 2019.
Bontrager totaled 39 tackles in two seasons at Saddleback, including 2.5 tackles-for-loss and 1.5 sacks. His biggest game of his career came against Bakersfield College in the Patriotic Bowl in 2018 when he recorded five total tackles in a 34-31 win.
Bontrager came to Saddleback from Marina High School where he lettered in football before graduating in 2018.
Bontrager's commitment brings the Saddleback total to 18 for the year, with more commitments expected in the coming weeks.
