Saddleback assistant takes CVC post

The Saddleback football program was back in the news on Friday with the announcement that assistant coach Eric Preszler has been named the new head football coach and athletic director at Capistrano Valley Christian High School.  Preszler was part of a Saddleback staff this past year that set numerous records.

Preszler joined the staff at Saddleback after nine years at the high school level where he had stints at Huntington Beach, Capistrano Valley Christian and Arrowhead Christian Academy.  He now returns to Capistrano Valley Christian where he replaces Rick Curtis, who recently left to take over coaching duties at Crean Lutheran High School.
