Ross is latest Gaucho to sign
The Saddleback football program was back in the news this past week when coaches announced that another member of the 2019 squad has signed to play at a four-year university. Sophomore Kai Ross will play at Lindenwood University next fall.
Ross was a member of the 2015 team that went to the state championship game and then took a few years off before returning to the Gauchos this past season. He finished second on the team with 62 total tackles, leading the team with eight pass break-ups for the year. In his two seasons at Saddleback, Ross had 121 tackles, five tackles-for-loss, four interceptions and 13 pass break-ups in 24 games.
Ross will continue his career at Lindenwood University, located in Saint Charles, Missouri. The Lions play an NCCA D2 schedule within the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
Ross gives Saddleback 10 early commitments from the 2019 team.
