
Four more Bobcats on the move
The Saddleback baseball program was back in the news this week with the announcement that four more members of the 2023 team have made commitments to four-year universities. The recent commitments brings the total to 10 for the year.
Saddleback had a great season in 2023, making it all the way to the state championship. The success has followed with recruitment, as the Bobcats are pumping guys out to four-year universities.
Trevor Eby, Cole Koniarsky, Cade McGuire and Zachary Schwartzberg all made commitments in recent weeks. Eby will play at Texas-Arlington, Koniarsky at UC Riverside, McGuire at Shorter and Schwartzberg at USC.
Eby heads to the University of Texas-Arlington, located in Arlington, Texas. The Mavericks play an NCAA D1 schedule within the Western Athletic Conference.
Koniarsky will play at UC Riverside, located in Riverside, California. The Highlanders play an NCAA D1 schedule within the Big West Conference.
McGuire made a commitment to Shorter University, located in Rome, Georgia. The Hawks plan an NCAA D2 schedule within the Gulf South Conference.
Schwartzberg will attend USC, located in Los Angeles, California. The Trojans play an NCAA D1 schedule within the Pac 12 Conference.
Saddleback is now up to 10 players committed to four-year universities.
