Fabre receives Arthur Ashe Award

The Saddleback men’s tennis team received some great news this week when it was announced that sophomore Ryan Fabre had received a prestigious honor. Fabre received the Arthur Ashe Award at the state banquet leading up to the state tournament.

The Saddleback men’s tennis team had three doubles teams and two singles players in action on Thursday at the state championships held in Ojai and Ventura. The Gauchos received a handful of great performances, including a big upset in singles play from Chris Torcaso.
Men’s tennis opens playoffs at Ventura

The Saddleback men’s tennis team found out on Sunday that it had qualified for the Southern California Regional Playoffs. The Gauchos will play at Ventura College on Tuesday.

The Saddleback men’s tennis team kept its playoff hopes alive with a 7-2 win against Fullerton College on Tuesday at the Saddleback Tennis Complex. The Gauchos were too tough on the back end for the Hornets in moving two games above .500 with two matches remaining on the schedule.
