Beresford says yes to HPU

The Saddleback women's tennis program was back in the news this week with the announcement that a player from the 2024 squad has signed a letter of intent.  Sophomore Ainsley Beresford signed at Hawai'i Pacific University, according to the tennis office.

Beresford had a great career at Saddleback, advancing to the state tournament in both years with the Bobcats.  She made it to the round of 16 in doubles as a freshman and advanced to the state tournament in both singles and doubles as a sophomore.

Beresford will play at Hawai'i Pacific, located in Honolulu.  The Sharks play an NCAA D2 schedule within the PacWest Conference. 

Previous to arriving at Saddleback, Beresford lettered in tennis at Laguna Beach High School before graduating in 2022.  While at LBHS, Beresford was an honor roll student and team captain.
