A Cat-5 finish

The Saddleback women's soccer program had another historic season, making it all the way to the 3C2A semifinals with a mostly freshman lineup.  The Bobcats found out this week they finished fifth in the national voting.

Saddleback vaulted up the national rankings in the last month of the season after beating highly-touted Cypress College and Pasadena City College in route to a second final four appearance in the past three years.  The Bobcats finished No. 5 in the nation, according to the United Soccer Coaches.

Saddleback finished the season 18-3-3 overall, winning the Orange Empire Conference championship.  The Bobcats were voted No. 1 in the nation by the United Soccer Coaches in 2022 after capturing the 3C2A state title and finishing 21-2-3.
