Another Bobcat on the move
The Saddleback women's soccer program was back in the news this week with the announcement that another member of the 2022 state championship team has committed to a four-year university. Sophomore Samantha Villasenor becomes the sixth member of the team to move on to the next level.
Villasenor was a main cog in the Saddleback lineup, playing in 46 games over the past two seasons. She had five goals and seven assists in her two seasons, going 2-for-2 on penalty kicks.
Previous to Saddleback, Villasenor lettered in soccer and golf at El Toro High School before graduating in 2021.
Villasenor is the sixth member of the 2022 squad to commit to a four-year university.
