Vitolo says yes to Concordia

The Saddleback women's soccer program was back in the news this past weekend as a member of the 2019 team has committed to playing at a four-year program.  Paige Vitolo committed to Concordia University, according to the soccer office.

Vitolo had a sensational freshman campaign for the Gauchos, leading the team in goals-scored and making the Orange Empire Conference First Team.  She finished with 16 goals and three assists, playing in 21 games this past season.  Vitolo scored multiple goals in five games this season, including two goals against Rio Hondo College in a 2-1 playoff win. 

Concordia is located in Irvine, California, and plays an NCAA D2 schedule within the PacWest Conference.  The Eagles finished 10-4-3 overall in 2019 and 8-1-2 in the PacWest, finishing in second place.

Vitolo is the second member of the 2019 squad to sign at a four-year school.
