Bobcats purr against Tigers

The Saddleback men's water polo team cruised to an 18-6 win against Riverside City College on Wednesday inside the Saddleback Aquatics Center.  The Bobcats jumped out to a big lead and never looked back.

Saddleback had one of its better starts of the year, opening up a 7-0 lead early in the second quarter.  Six different players scored goals in the opening quarter as the Bobcats had a 6-0 lead after the opening frame.

Armand Le Goff (pictured) led off the second quarter with his second goal of the game to make it 7-0.  It was one of four goals on the day for Le Goff, who now leads the team with 81 goals for the season.

Saddleback blew the game wide open in the third quarter when they outscored Riverside City 6-1 in taking a 15-3 lead into the fourth quarter.  Cross Viter had two of his four goals during the quarter.

Saddleback is now 9-12 overall and 2-3 in Orange Empire Conference (OEC) play.  The Bobcats will play in the Cuesta Invitational this Friday and Saturday.
