Saddleback men fourth at OEC Finals

The Saddleback men's swim and dive team finished fourth at the Orange Empire Conference Finals on Saturday at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa.  The Bobcats had three individual finishes in the top-5.

Saddleback was led by Kevin Perow, who had two second place finishes in diving.  Perow was second in both the 1-meter dive (152.) and 3-meter dive (132.15) competitions.  Joining Perow with a top-5 finish was Will Prawira, who was fifth in the 200 Breaststroke (2:19.30).  Prawira (pictured) also had a solid finish in the 100 Breaststroke (1:02.73) in finishing sixth.

Saddleback had nine others that had top-10 finishes at the meet.  Nathan Lawson finished in the top-to three times, finishing seventh in the 100 Breaststroke (1:02.76), ninth in the 200 Individual Medley (2:07.09) and 10th in the 200 Breaststroke (2:21.54).  Ian Manson was a seventh place finisher in the 200 Breaststroke (2:23.40) while Daivik Patel was seventh in the 200 Backstroke (2:09.17).  Oliver Child was ninth in the 100 Backstroke (1:03.25) while Jared Chavez was ninth in the 1,650 Freestyle (18:48.41).  Armand Le Goff was 10th in the 100 Breaststroke (1:05.06) while Sam Barauna was 10th in the 200 Fly (2:24.28). 

The 3C2A State Championships will be held at Orange Coast on May 2-4.
