The Saddleback men's soccer team learned it had qualified for the upcoming 3C2A Southern California Regional Tournament when the playoff seedings were announced on Sunday. The Bobcats will host Compton College on Wednesday in the first Saddleback men's soccer playoff game in program history.
Saddleback earned the 11-seed after finishing 9-6-5 overall and 6-4-4 in Orange Empire Conference play. The Bobcats finished third in the conference standings behind conference champion Fullerton College and Santa Ana College.
Saddleback will host Compton College, who finished 8-8-3 overall and in fourth place (3-5-1) in the South Coast Conference South Division.
Saddleback and Compton are scheduled to start at 6:00 inside the stadium.
