Men’s golf wins again
The Saddleback men's golf team is off to a great start to the season and picked up another win on Monday at Soboba Springs Golf Club in San Jacinto. Saddleback shot 375 to win by five shots over Mt. San Antonio College.
Saddleback's score of 375 was the second best score of the year next to an opening-day score of 369 on April 12th at Spring Valley Lake Golf Club. The golf team had five players at 80-or-lower on Monday, led by Patrick Jaksch. The freshman from Cathedral Catholic High School (Del Mar) shot an even-par round of 72 (36, 36) on the 7,339-yard layout in finishing fourth in medalist play.
Joining Jaksch with a solid scorecard was Chase Bosanko (73), Jacob Martin (74), Denis Watson (76) and Zachary Stout (80).
Saddleback will play again on Wednesday at Via Verde Golf Club in San Dimas.
