
Baseball commits up to a dozen
The Saddleback baseball program was back in the news this week with the announcement that two more players have committed to four-year schools. The two commitments give the program 12 commitments for the offseason.
The latest commitments were pitchers Damon Anderson Wolf and Jake Porter. Anderson Wolf will play at Rogers State while Porter committed to California Lutheran.
Anderson Wolf finished 3-1 in 2024 and was 8-4 over his two seasons in the program. He heads to Rogers State, located in Claremont, Oklahoma. The Hillcats play an NCAA D2 schedule within the Mid-America Athletic Association.
Porter was 3-3 in his two seasons with the Bobcats, striking out 24 in 43 innings of work. He heads to Cal Lutheran, located in Thousand Oaks, California. The Kingsman play an NCAA D3 schedule within the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
