
Bobcats up to 11 commitments
The Saddleback baseball team was back in the news this week with the announcement that three more players from the state championship program have committed to four-year universities. Ryan Seymour (pictured), Jason Wright and Dylan Taguiam all committed in recent weeks, running the total to 11 players committed off the 2024 squad.
Seymour will play at Shorter University, located in Rome, Georgia. The Hawks play an NCAA D2 schedule within the Gulf South Conference. Seymour played in 21 games this past season, finishing 3-0 with three saves and a 2.43 ERA.
Wright will play at Montana State University at Billings. Montana State-Billings is located in Billings, Montana, and plays an NCAA D2 schedule within the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. Wright played in 29 games this past season, finishing with a .333 on-base percentage.
Taguiam will play at The Master's University, located in Santa Clarita, California. The Mustangs play under the NAIA umbrella within the Golden State Athletic Conference. Taguiam played in 14 games with the Bobcats this past season, batting .250 for the year.
