Two more Gauchos moving on

The Saddleback baseball program was back in the news on Wednesday with the announcement of two more players making four-year commitments.  Nick Lopez and Keegan Wright have both made commitments, bringing the total to five for the year.

Lopez will play at San Francisco State.  The Gators play an NCCA D2 schedule within the California Collegiate Athletic Association.  Lopez played in 47 games for the Gauchos in 2019-20 and was red hot when the 2020 campaign was cut short due to the Coronavirus.  Lopez was 5-for-10 with a home run in his last three appearances during the season.

Wright will play at San Diego Christian College, which plays under the NAIA umbrella within the Golden State Athletic Conference.  Wright redshirted this past season at Saddleback.

The two commitments brings the Saddleback baseball commitments to five for the year.
