
Jensen signs with Holy Names
The Saddleback baseball program was back in the news with the week with the announcement that another member of the 2020 squad has signed a letter-of-intent. Sophomore Ellis Jensen committed to Holy Names University, according to the baseball office.
Jensen played in 2018 and 2020 for Saddleback, pitching in 19 games. He had a 4-1 career record with the Gauchos and a 3.57 career ERA.
Holy Names University is located in Oakland, California, and plays an NCAA D2 schedule in the PacWest Conference. The Hawks were 10-15 in 2020 before the season was cut short due to the Coronavirus.
Jensen is the third member of the 2020 baseball team to commit to a four-year school.
