Six Bobcats named to All-OEC squad

The Saddleback baseball team is preparing for the upcoming 3C2A Regional Playoffs and the coaches from the conference convened on Monday to determine an All-Orange Empire Conference Team. Six different players were named all-conference with one earning a Gold Glove at his position.
Lombard named All-OEC

The Saddleback softball season ended this past week and the coaches from the conference convened over the weekend to determine an All-Orange Empire Conference Team. McKenzie Lombard was named to the second team.
Krosby captures OEC pole vault title

The Saddleback men’s track & field team finished third at the Orange Empire Conference Finals on Friday at Riverside City College. Micah Krosby was part of a dominant performance by the Bobcats in the pole vault.
Saddleback to host OCC in opening series

The Saddleback baseball team learned its playoff fate on Sunday and will host Orange Coast College in the opening round of the 3C2A Southern California Regional Playoffs, starting on Friday. The Bobcats (24-15) and Pirates (16-24) are 2-of-7 teams from the Orange Empire Conference (OEC) to qualify for the playoffs.

The Saddleback baseball team finished the regular season with an 8-2 win over Irvine Valley College on Friday at Doug Fritz Field. With the win the Bobcats finish in second place in the Orange Empire Conference heading into the playoffs.
Two Bobcats move forward at state

The Saddleback women’s tennis team had a great day on Thursday at the 3C2A State Tennis Tournament in Ojai, California. The Bobcats had one pair move to the round of 32 while Ainsley Beresford won two matches in singles play.

The Saddleback baseball team bounced back with a 9-8 victory at Irvine Valley College on Thursday in Irvine. The two teams will face off in the rubber match at Saddleback on Friday in the final game of the regular season.

The Saddleback softball team defeated Santiago Canyon, 3-1, on Tuesday in Orange. The Bobcats are hoping a late push in the final week can qualify them for the playoffs.
Afrookhteh says yes to Nevada

The Saddleback football program was back in the news this week with the announcement that another member of the 2023 team has committed to a four-year university. Kicker Kian Afrookhteh will play at the University of Nevada, according to the football office.
McFadden says yes to Seawolves

The Saddleback men’s basketball team was back in the news this week with the announcement that one of the players from the 2023-24 team has committed to a four-year university. Sophomore John McFadden committed to Alaska Anchorage.
