Bio

McPherson joined the coaching staff at Saddleback during the summer of 2024 as a defensive line coach.  

McPherson has been coaching for nearly three decades, including 15 years at the community college level.  He has also coached for seven years at the high school level and six season at the Pop Warner level.  During his coaching career, McPherson's teams have appeared in five collegiate bowl games, two appearances in the high school playoffs and one appearance in the Pop Warner Summer Bowl in Florida.

In addition to being a veteran of the armed forces, McPherson played collegiately at Cerritos College and then Cal State Northridge.  

McPherson lives locally with his wife Madeline.
