Bio

Came to Saddleback as an assistant coach during the summer of 2024.  Previous to Saddleback, Garcia was an assistant coach at College of the Canyons.  During her time at COC, Garcia was a strength and conditioning coach for both women's basketball and softball.  

Garcia played basketball at Canyon High School from 2013-2017 where she was a four-year starter, being selected all-league and all-state her final two seasons.  In addition, she received the Ardyce Master Inspirational Award and Female Athlete-of-the-Year her senior year.

Garcia started her collegiate career at Ventura College from 2017-2020 where she earned both all-academic and all-conference honors for the Pirates.  She then transfered to Cal State Northridge (2020-2022) where she was a student-assistant under Mark Gottfried and Jim Harrick for the men's basketball program.  During her time at CSUN, Garcia earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in sports studies.  She recently earned a master's degree in kinesiology from Louisiana State University.
