The Saddleback baseball team defeated San Joaquin Delta College, 8-5, on Monday at Mt. San Antonio College to win the California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) state baseball championship. It was the second state title in program history.

For the second straight season the Saddleback baseball team has advanced to the state championship after an 11-7 win against West Valley College on Sunday at Mt. San Antonio College. The Bobcats need one win on Monday to claim a second state title in program history.

Coach Trani set to retire

The Saddleback softball program was back in the news this week with the announcement that head coach Nick Trani has retired after 30 years of coaching at the school. Trani leaves as the winningest coach in program history.
Beresford says yes to HPU

The Saddleback women’s tennis program was back in the news this week with the announcement that a player from the 2024 squad has signed a letter of intent. Sophomore Ainsley Beresford signed at Hawai’i Pacific University, according to the tennis office.

Krosby wins state title

The Saddleback men’s track & field season finished on a high note on Saturday at the 3C2A State Track & Field Championships at Saddleback. Micah Krosby stunned the crowd when he captured the state title in the pole vault in the final event of the day.

The Saddleback women’s track & field season finished with a bang on Saturday at the 3C2A State Track & Field Championships held at Saddleback College. Danna Ibarra Canales won the state title in the 1,500 meters, setting a program record in the process.
