Saddleback shatters scholarship awards record

The Saddleback athletics department has set another milestone to reach as it recently broke the record for the most scholarship monies awarded to its athletes for the 2024-25 seasons. The athletes are now approaching $3.25 million dollars (approximation) in scholarship awards, which eclipses the old record set in 2019-20.
Trio of Bobcats make commitments

The Saddleback flag football program was back in the news this week with the announcement that three of its players from the inaugural 2025 team have committed to four-year universities. Anelly Alba, Jaylene Roby and Val Amaro have all made choices.
Two more Bobcats commit

The Saddleback football program was back in the news this past week with the announcement of two more commitments to the four-year ranks. Enrique Amposta and Eric Padilla were the latest commitments, bringing the offseason total to 26.
Two more baseball commitments

The Saddleback baseball program was back in the news this past week with the announcement of two more players from the 2025 team committing to four-year universities. Jacob Beauchine and Isaac Rodriguez give the Bobcats six commitments for the offseason.
Sofley named volleyball coach

The Saddleback athletics department announced that Michael Sofley has been named the new coach for the women’s volleyball program. Sofley will handle both the indoor and beach programs for the school.
Freeman takes over track & field program

The Saddleback athletics department was thrilled to announce this week that Gigi Freeman will be the new head coach of the track & field program. Freeman has been with the program since 2020.
Saddleback surf 3rd in the nation

The Saddleback surf team finished up another successful campaign with a third-place finish at the National Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA) National Championships on Sunday in Dana Point. It was the third straight finish in the top four in the country.
Munchoff to play at UCI

The Saddleback women’s water polo program was back in the news this week with the announcement that one of the players from the 2024 squad has committed to a four-year university. Holliss Munchoff has decided to play at UC Irvine.
Andrews takes over women’s swim

The Saddleback athletics department announced this past week that women’s water polo coach Molly Andrews will take over the women’s swimming and dive program.
Another Bobcat on the move

The Saddleback men’s soccer program was back in the news this week with the announcement that another member of the 2024 squad will transfer to a four-year university. Sophomore Tyler Petersen becomes the fourth commitment during the offseason.
