Love guides Bobcats to 8th place finish

The Saddleback women's cross country team finished in eighth place at the Southern California Preview on Friday at El Dorado Park in Long Beach.  Payton Love finished 7^th overall to guide the Bobcats.

Saddleback had a solid performance, with all five harriers finishing in the top-75 of a race that included 168 competitors.  Love was the leader, finishing seventh overall and sixth in the team event. She crossed the finish line of the 5k trek in 19:04.7, averaging 6:40.8-per-mile.

Saddleback had another top-25 competitor in Danna Ibarra Canales, who finished 23^rd overall and 18^th in the team event.  Ibarra Canales crossed the tape in 19:43.7.

Saddleback had three more harriers in the top-75 of the overall event in Mia Arnwine (61^st), Midori McConathy (68^th) and Shae Barrera (73^rd). 

Saddleback will be back on the course next Friday at the Golden West Invitational.  The start time is scheduled for 9:30 AM in Huntington Beach.
