Bobcats third at latest OEC meet

The Saddleback women's swimming and dive team finished third on Friday at the most recent Orange Empire Conference meet at Golden West College.  The Bobcats had 13 finishes in the top eight.

Saddleback was led by Kaitlyn Dawley, who had a win in the 100 Fly (1:06.61) and finished second in both the 400 Individual Medley (5:15.38) and 200 Breaststroke (2:51.14).

Saddleback had seven others with top-8 finishes in Marin Hickson, Tianna Armendariz, Macie Schniepp, Brielle Horner, Carson Mackenzie, Aaliyah Burns and Jordan Gibbons.

Hickson finished fourth in the 1,650 Freestyle (20:59.17) and seventh in the 500 Freestyle (6:01.37).  Armendariz was seventh in the 1,650 Freestyle (21:52.92) while finishing eighth in the 100 Breaststroke (1:25.18).  Macie Schniepp finished eighth in both the 500 Freestyle (6:14.28) and 100 Freestyle (1:04.45).  Mackenzie was fifth in the 100 Fly (1:18.55) while Horner was sixth (1:20.77) in the same event.  Burns finished eighth in the 100 Backstroke (1:20.72) while Gibbons was eighth in the 400 Individual Medley (6:27.68). 

Saddleback will be back in the water at the Riverside City College Invitational on April 7.
