Elahi guides Bobcats

The Saddleback women's golf team finished third at the latest Orange Empire Conference (OEC) event at Fullerton Golf Course on Monday in Fullerton.  Melissa Elahi led the Bobcats for team medalist honors.

Elahi shot 81 on the par-67 trek in Fullerton.  It was good enough for seventh place overall in medalist play.

Saddleback finished 4-2 for the day, finishing in third place in the team competition.  Following Elahi on the team scorecard was Madison Randolph (86), Lauren Hambrick (89) and Erica Berger (99).

The 81 by Elahi was her best round of the season, eclipsing a round of 83 shot at Costa Mesa Country Club back on September 25. 

Saddleback is now 22-20 overall for the season after the result on Monday.  The Bobcats currently sit in fourth place in the OEC standings.

Saddleback will play again on Wednesday at Temecula Creek Golf Club.
