Women's golf has four-year commitment

The women's golf program was back in the news on Wednesday with the announcement that one of its players from the 2022 squad has made a commitment to a four-year university.    Sabrina Ladd will play at Fort Lewis College, according to the golf office.

Ladd was a member of the team the past two seasons, helping the Bobcats to a second place finish in 2021 and a third place finish in 2022 at the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) State Tournament.

Ladd was selected to the All-Orange Empire Conference First Team in 2021 and also made the Dean's List for academics.  She had a season-low round of 78 this past season at Costa Mesa Country Club on September 26.

Fort Lewis is located in Durango, Colorado.  The Skyhawks play an NCAA DII schedule within the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

Ladd lettered in golf at Coronado High School before graduating in 2019.
