Bobcats rule the hills at Arroyo

The Saddleback women's golf team improved to 48-0 on Wednesday with a win at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo.   The Bobcats shot the second best round of the year in winning by 21 strokes.

Saddleback defended its home turf on Wednesday, shooting a team score of 308.  It was the second best score of the year and the second best score in program history, just one shot of the 307 they shot in the first match of the year.

Saddleback had a balanced attack on Wednesday.  Nicole Whipple and Amber Davalos tied for medalist honors with rounds of 75 (+3).  Mariana Gandia-Mak was one shot back at 76 while Sabrina Ladd rounded out the team score with a round of 82. 

Saddleback heads into the Orange Empire Conference Finals with a 9-game lead over Orange Coast College in the OEC standings.  The Bobcats will play at the OEC Finals at Menifee Lakes Golf Course next Monday and Wednesday.
