Thibert makes a commitment

The Saddleback softball program was back in the news this week with the announcement that one of the players has committed to a four-year university.  Anne Thibert will play at Kansas Wesleyan University, according to the softball office.

Thibert finished the season leading the Bobcats in five categories.  She led the team in hits (48), batting average (.425), stolen bases (18), runs-scored (27) and on-base percentage (.472).  Thibert was rewarded after the season when she was named to the All-Orange Empire Conference Second Team.

Thibert came to Saddleback from Trabuco Hills High School where she lettered in softball and basketball before graduating in 2019.

Kansas Wesleyan University is located in Salina, Kansas.  The Coyotes play under the NAIA umbrella within the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.
