Bobcats run third at GWI

The Saddleback men's cross country team finished in third place at the Golden West Invitational on Friday in Huntington Beach.  The Bobcats had two medalists at the meet.

Brandon Pizano-Pintor and Santiago Sanchez both picked up medals for finishing in the top-10 on Friday. Pizano-Pintor finished 7^th overall and Sanchez finished 10^th as the Bobcats finished third behind Riverside City College and Cuyamaca College. 

Pizano-Pintor (botom left) finished the 4-mile trek in 21:18.43 to lead Saddleback.  He was followed closely by Sanchez (bottom right) who crossed the finish line in 21:35.19.

Another with a top-15 performance was Justin Boos, who finished 15^th in a time of 21:50.75.  Rounding out the team score for Saddleback was Jullian Dorantes-Lara (18^th) and Marquis Colvin (19^th).

Saddleback will compete again at the SoCal Preview in Bakersfield next Friday.
